i'm not sure about this one i did a 5 frame bracket over 4 f-stops, but in the end i used only the lightest two and blew part of the highlights, because, well, the light in there was quite intense ... normally i hate blowing highlights, so i'm still undecided about the texture/contrast ratio here
sidenote: imagine entering that hall and spotting a masked sniper with a massive gun high up under the roof, taking aim a softair guy of course, but still ...
looks cool there is such an abandoned old factory in the city where I live... the main hall is.... about 500 meters long your picture just makes me want to go there and go crazy with my little camera
ok, if I go there I'll send you a note with links to my photos I only have to find some free time ....
I don't know for sure if it's 500m (at least that's what I've been told...), but it definitely is huge like most of those post-comunistic factorys....
well. i know that place and the lighning there.. you did a good job technically ! maybe it is too bright for my taste, since the atmosphere is awesome there.. so a darker image would have been my choice.
you know what? now some time after all that fucking around with bracketing and combining, i think that one of the pure single shots is actually the best
i'm just too conservative about detail i guess
when i get my 40mm hasselblad lens and have some experience with that thing, i want to redo the shot ...
well. i know what you mean. atmosphere is often about light.. and when there is light everywhere it soon looks strange. anyway, i'd be very intrested in a hassy-version with a 40mm.. sounds like an awesome thing.
ps: we could share lenses if you want.. would you be intrested ?
Have a great time everyone and please fav this article so as many people can see the featured works. I would recommend seeing each one and faving them too.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
